Eureka, CA – Nation’s Finest is excited to host the 2nd Annual “Game of Throws” cornhole tournament in Eureka on April 29 at the Fortuna Veterans Memorial Building to raise funds for local Veterans.

The tournament will begin at 11 a.m. and include family-friendly entertainment, a silent auction and raffle prizes, a beer station, Manzanilla Kitchen Food Truck, and more. This event is sponsored by Lost Coast Cornhole, Fortuna Veterans Memorial Building, Coast Central Credit Union, and Redwood Capital Bank.

The “Game of Throws” cornhole tournament, which is taking place across multiple Nation’s Finest locations in 2023, aims to bring the community together to help local low-income and homeless Veterans. The goal is to raise funds that will directly benefit the programs and services at Nation’s Finest-Eureka to help Veterans and their families with housing, mental health and behavioral services, employment services, and more.

“We’re excited to host our second cornhole tournament fundraiser and continue growing awareness of Nation’s Finest in the community,” says Saul Lopez, Site Director at Nation’s Finest-Eureka. “Cornhole is a great way to bring people together and support our Veterans who have given so much to us already.”

Teams of two can register for the tournament on www.NationsFinest.org/game-of-throws using the Scoreholio app and pay at the door, $50 per team. All teams can then compete to win prizes while showing support for America’s military Veterans.

Representatives from Nation’s Finest will be available to interview, and the event is open to the media. Please coordinate interviews or request to learn more using the contact information below.
