Mather, CA – 6/6/2021 – Veteran nonprofit Nation’s Finest will host a Mental Health Resource Fair on Wednesday, June 8th in Mather, providing information to veterans about resources in the community. The event is scheduled from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Mather Veteran’s Village, located at 10621 Schirra Avenue.

This is the third time Nation’s Finest has hosted a Mental Health Fair to this scale in the last two years, having served nearly a thousand members of the community with referrals and services at mental health-focused events since 2020. This recent history upholds a long-standing tradition as Nation’s Finest celebrates 50 years of service to veterans throughout 2022.

Organizations from across the community will be in attendance to discuss a variety of mental health and self-care practices. Booths with feature topics such as: animal therapy, wellness, recovery, mental health resources, yoga & meditation, financial literacy, and employment resources. Complimentary lunch will be provided to all guests who complete an event stamp card.
