Aaron Hanson (first photo) is the new Chief Development Officer for Nation’s Finest, a 50-year-old organization that provides housing, mental health, case management, and job training services to Veterans and their families. He will work from Utah and is a third-generation fundraising professional with nearly three decades helping non-profits. Before Nation’s Finest, Aaron spent nine years as the Director of Development for Shriner’s Children’s Southern California. He describes fundraising as “a soft science and technical art inspired by vision, led by values, and driven by data” — a philosophy of philanthropy that has served him well.

Additionally, Robert Charles (second photo) joins Nation’s Finest from Government of Catawba Indian Nation, where he was the CFO and Executive Director of Administrative Services. In his new role of Chief Administrative Officer of Nation’s Finest, he will be based in North Carolina and work closely with the executive team for strategic planning and business development, coordinate the management of contract implementation and compliance, and oversee the scheduling and delivery of programmatic compliance reporting, among other duties.

“We are excited to welcome these incredible people who are as passionate about helping Veterans as we are, and we look forward to 2023,” says Nation’s Finest CEO, Chris Johnson.
