Chico, CA — Nation’s Finest is excited to host the 2nd Annual “Game of Throws” cornhole tournament in Chico on March 25 at the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds to raise funds for local Veterans.

The tournament will begin at 11 a.m. and include family-friendly entertainment, food trucks, raffle prizes, a beer garden, and more. This event is sponsored by Pepsi, Feather Falls Brewery, and Arrowhead Mapping.

The “Game of Throws” cornhole tournament, which is taking place across multiple Nation’s Finest locations in 2023, aims to bring the community together to help the local low-income and homeless Veteran populations. The goal is to raise funds that will directly benefit the programs and services at Nation’s Finest-Chico to help local Veterans and their families in need with housing, mental health and behavioral services, employment services, and more.

“Everyone has been looking forward to Game of Throws since our tournament last year,” says Aimee Decker, Site Director at Nation’s Finest-Chico. It’s a great way for the community to come together and have fun while supporting our Veterans.”

Teams of two can register for the tournament on www.nationsfinest.org/game-of-throws at $60 per team, then compete to win prizes and show support for America’s Veterans. There is also a youth tournament that children can compete in for only $10 per child. The raffle prizes are donated by Blue Diamond, Dutch Brothers, Cycle Gear, Twisted Cafe, Klean Canteen, and Board and Brush, just to name a few.

Representatives from Nation’s Finest will be available to interview, and the event is open to media. Please coordinate interviews or request to learn more using the contact information below.
