Flagstaff, AZ – Dec. 15, 2023 – Nation’s Finest, an organization dedicated to supporting military Veterans and their families, is honored to announce its partnership with Light of the World Giving Machines coming to Flagstaff this holiday season. The unique “vending machines,” provided by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, offer a heartfelt and memorable way for the community to give back during the holidays.
Located at Heritage Square, 6 E. Aspen Avenue in downtown Flagstaff, the Giving Machines will be open to the public from Saturday, Dec. 16, through Monday, Jan. 1. Nation’s Finest encourages the community to visit the machines and participate in this extraordinary initiative.
The Giving Machines will provide an opportunity to support Nation’s Finest of Flagstaff by purchasing essential items for Veterans in need, such as winter clothes, mobile phones, laundry supplies, transportation assistance, and safe lodging. One can make a meaningful impact with donations ranging from $5 to $300. The Church covers all operational costs, ensuring that 100% of the contributions received will directly benefit the chosen charities.
The Giving Machines of Flagstaff will also feature items for donation benefiting other local, state, and global nonprofit organizations: Northland Family Help Center, Cancer Support Community of Northern Arizona, Catholic Charities Community Services, The Welcome to America Project, Mentors International, and WaterAid.
